If being up on stilts in an ancient mahogany forest in a secluded section of Tanzania’s Lake Manyara National Park doesn’t sound luxurious, the description of Tree Lodge’s 10 stilted treehouses certainly does.
Each treehouse is spacious yet snug, with huge windows, warm surroundings, and bubble baths.
The owners have tapped into a unique business opportunity, as the lodge is the only one within the National Park.
An all-inclusive package stay can cost as much as $1,205 a night during the lodge’s busiest seasons, but the price goes down to around $755 during March through May.
