Not everyone agrees about who’s responsible for the current state of affairs. Minnesota-based photography instructor Becky Olstad argues that no single person or industry is to blame – and that Photoshop is simply a tool.
There’s some debate over whether or not this Gucci advert – which appeared in the company’s Resort 2013 campaign – is Photoshopped. According to comments made by Photoshop Disasters readers, the position in which model Joan Small was sitting could have caused some disagreeable wrinkling in the crotch area. The solution? Extend her leg and get rid of her crotch altogether. And while they were at it, they shaved a couple of inches off her thigh, too.
