Stratford University is a privately run academic institution that was established in 1976. It is accredited to award Diplomas, Associates, Bachelors and Masters Degrees by the Accrediting Council for Independent Colleges and Schools, and is also recognized by the Council for Higher Education Accreditation. In 2009, Diverse Education ranked Stratford as one of the Top 100 Graduate Degree Producers for All Disciplines.
Stratford University offers degrees of various levels and specializations through on-campus learning and via distance education. Stratford offers students the choice of nine online Masters degrees, eight online Bachelors degrees, and seven online Associate degrees and diplomas. Tuition is computed on a per credit basis. The tuition for online undergraduate degrees are at $370.00 per credit hour while online graduate programs will cost $410.00 per credit hour. Cost of text books are included in the tuition fees, but other incidental expenses such as laboratory and graduation fees may not be.
Financial aid in the form of grants, loans and scholarships are available to eligible students. Students who are actively involved in the military are entitled to military discounts. To inquire about eligibility requirements, contact the Financial Aid office.
Stratford has a rolling admission schedule and classes start five times each year. To be admitted to an undergraduate online degree program, applicants must have a high school diploma (or its equivalent) and, for foreign students, have taken an IELTS or TOEFL language test. Those interested in enrolling in online graduate courses must have a bachelor’s degree related to the identified graduate program, GRE / GMAT scores, and have taken IELTS / TOEFL exams (for graduates of non-English speaking countries).
