Nova Southeastern University (NSU) was founded in 1964 as the Nova University which initially offered graduate studies in the physical and social sciences. Through the years, several areas of study were added as well as distance learning programs. Today, NSU is a private learning institution offering undergraduate, graduate and professional programs. NSU’s main campus is located in Fort Lauderdale, Florida. Nova Southeastern University is a participating institution of the Electronic Campus of the Southern Regional Education Board. Financial aid is provided by two types of aid namely the gift aid and the self-help aid. While the former consists of grants and scholarships which need not be repaid, the latter consists of loans and student employment which requires payment or service commitment.
