Westwood College is a private, for-profit learning institute with 17 campus locations in California, Colorado, Georgia, Illinois, Texas, and Virginia and an online learning campus. Westwood College was founded in 1953 in Denver, Colorado as the Denver Institute of Technology offering degree programs in a variety of technical fields. As its curriculum and degree offerings expanded into other industries, the school’s name was changed to Westwood College.
Today, Westwood College is owned by Alta Colleges, Inc., a group of for-profit higher education institutions that also includes Westwood College Online and Redstone College.
Accredited by the Accrediting Commission of Career Schools and Colleges (ACCSC) and the Accrediting Council for Independent Colleges and Schools (ACICS), Westwood College offers Associate, Bachelor’s and Master’s degrees through its six academic schools; namely, the School of Technology; School of Design; School of Business; School of Justice; School of Healthcare; and School of Industrial Services.

Cost of tuition of both on-campus and online degree programs varies according to the degree program chosen. For the online MBA course; however, the total tuition investment cost is US$22,998 or US$3,833 per term. Financial aid is extended in the form of grants and loans. Scholarships are also available and may be granted to qualified students.
