Louis Pelico founded the charity and also abandoned it after finding himself “unable” to reduce fundraising costs and feeling deeply disturbed over that seemingly insurmountable obstacle. FCF continues to dole out egregious amounts to solicitors, paying a whopping 90 cents of every dollar raised to its for-profit solicitors.
